A LETTER FROM OUR CAMP DIRECTOR

Dear Friend,

I hope this day finds you well. The purpose of this letter is to introduce you to Royal Family KIDS Camp and to see if you or your business would be willing to be a sponsor for our Tee Off Against Child Abuse Golf Tournament.

Royal Family KIDS Camp (RFKC) is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt public charity which offers free summer camp experiences for abused, abandoned and neglected children. Since its inception in 1985 it has enrolled over 80,000 children in camps. The national organization mobilizes and empowers local churches to sponsor a one week residential camp for children ages 6-12 currently in the foster care system. In 2017 over 200 summer camps were held around the country supported by over 11,000 volunteers.

Tower Hill Church in Auburn sponsors the only camp in NH. We provide a week of life changing moments and unconditional love to over 30 children on a small private college campus. As the camp director working in conjunction with RFKC headquarters and team leaders, we recruited, screened and trained over 35 volunteers, spearheaded fundraising efforts, planned, organized and implemented an extraordinary week that included arts and crafts, woodworking, swimming, drama, music , a birthday party and carnival. We want to continue to provide a week of camp so that every foster child in the State of NH that applies is able to experience a sense of love and hope at camp.

Due to our unique 1:2 staff to camper ratio, special child abuse training and no cost to campers, the investment to send one child to camp is approximately $1000. Without the support from the local community we would not be able to provide this camp experience. Sponsorship and fundraising efforts are the only way we can continue to provide this opportunity to children most in need of unconditional love and support.

In an effort to raise the funds needed we will be organizing the Tee Off Against Child Abuse Golf Tournament. We are asking if you would be willing to provide a financial or prize donation to make our fundraising efforts successful. I have enclosed a tournament brochure which outlines the various sponsorship levels. It is also a registration form if you would like to enter a foursome.

Thank you for your consideration.

Lisa Lacombe, Camp Director
